In 6mm, GHQ and Scotia. Skyraider Miniatures used to do great weapons packs but they don't seem to be trading any more,

Scotia seems inexpensive, limited mainly to iron bombs, drop tanks and torpedoes. Not seen any or photos so cant comment on quality, but am thinking of buying some next time I order as H&R aircraft look a bit bare.

GHQ do a NATO weapons pack, which looks cool, but is expensive and really mainly relevant to US aircraft according to reviews I've read.

I've no information on other scales, but will be watching with interest to see what others know about in 6mm.

Cheers, Andy

Scotia's 6mm bombs are massive and not really suitable for modern aircraft. They'd probably look good on a diorama of a Lancaster bomber getting loaded up. Importantly, the Scotia bombs do not come with pylons attached so you'd need to scratch build some.

The GHQ weapons are excellently sculpted as you would expect, but are expensive (again, as you would expect!) and have a preponderance of air to air missiles. Great if you are building a collection of fighter planes, not so good if you are modelling ground attack aircraft.

There's a useful review on the 6mm wargaming info website, but it doesn't appear to have been updated of late:

C-in-C miniatures do a US guided bomb set and a Soviet air to surface missiles pack. 18-20 units each for $5:00

Also - GHQ say they will sell "spare parts" and several of their models come with rocket pods, bombs, etc etc so if you can find what you want & describe it to them in an email you might get lucky... (although it probably won't be cheap...)

Cheers,

Pete
