Whilst packing away my Poles last night I noticed that the Scotia T-55AM I've used for them is a bit of an odd beast. It has both the KTD range finder over the barrel and side skirts, but not the "bra" armour on the turret, which are the usual 3 spotting features of the AM. I can't find this configuration existing anywhere in the wilds of the internet (even under another designation). Anyone any idea if this combination did actually exist in the Soviet era?

I'm assuming it's another Scotia foobie, so I'm now considering converting them to either T-55Ms for my Finns (adding rear turret stowage boxes) or adding Drozd bits and doing some Soviet Naval - or both! Grin

I've decided to re-purpose the hulls of mine as Finnish T-55Ms and use the turrets to make some T-55 Drozds and replace them in my Polish list with some H+R T-55As (with additional styrene turret toolboxes, Polish style). I think they are foobies, and I'd rather have stuff that's as close to accurate as I can get.
