I'm looking at doing some Middle East imagi-nations and would like to include an amphibious so I'm asking does anyone know of a maker of 1/600th assault hovercraft?

No, but there is 1/700th stuff out there. Gwylan models do a 1/700th Zubr (but it is currently sold out).

I'm sure I've seen other 1/700th Zubrs, I'd suggest a hunt around on ebay where you may also pick up other amphibious platforms or accessory kits from companies like Orange Hobby or Trumpeter.
