I've always been a little mystified by this sentence in the rules.

>Note that a unit cannot be suppressed and forced to fall-back as a result of the same order, but can become suppressed and fall-back as a result of enemy initiative actions.

It's really the later part of this sentence. Does it mean if a unit is suppressed during the initiative phase and then has an unsaved hit in the firing phase it then tests to fall back?

Or if it's suppressed during the initiative phase and takes a second unsaved hit in this same initiative phase it tests for fall back?

I had a quick look at my copy of BKC 3rd edition to see if there was any clarity, to read that any second hits after suppression can result in a fall back! is this intentional?

Step away from BKC 3. It isn't safe.

I think initiative actions happen with each eligible unit taking an initiative action in turn. If friendly unit 1 suppresses enemy unit A, and friendly unit 2 then causes another suppression on enemy unit A, then it has to take the fall back.

I agree Andy.

I also agree that looking at BKC3 is very unsafe Wink

My copy BKC3 is waiting for the call from Pendraken to return for the reprinted version. I hope they do get it sorted. I occasionally read it and get very frightened. But I guess folks can always continue to play BK2...just call it old skool.
