So yesterday we had a game where the following came up.

I was attacking a hill with some dug in conscripts and their HQ. In one turn the position was hit with a preplaned airstrike, smoke from artillery and then a transport heli made a preplaned ground assault to deploy infantry.

Does it all happen at the same time? In my mind the attack order was the plane dropping bombs, the arty dropping smoke and then the heli assault came in. But my opponent felt that it would happen at the same time and that the HQ would get a chance to AA fire on the helicopter before being covered by the smoke. The rule book does not offer much help here.

As with all attacks the active player decides the order of events.
