Watched Gun-Pit and SteveJ scrap out in Germany 1989; British v's Soviets. very interesting and convinced me to get a 6mm CWC group to join in the mayhem at some point. Noticed that Soviets very restricted with their doctrine and lower CV against a flexible British force.

Yes because Paul and Steve are potential opponents. Otherwise I must confess the period does not grab me the way BKC/WW2 does! 6mm looks good for moderns tho' as it's mostly vehicles anyway.

Good to hear you will be making the plunge Stefan! Paul kindly provided the forces as mine are still in the WIP stage as usual.

A very good game with a convincing win for the Brits (meSmile). We didn't use the different types of arty munitions to keep the game simple, but it still took us six hours to finish the game! Really looking forward to the next encounter, hopefully with my Brits finished.

I love CWC in 6mm. Ive got a nice late 80s Brit force and a smaller Iraqi force suitable for Gulf War 1 and late Iran/Iraq war.

Currently working on a Iranian force too.

It was good for my gathering-dust toys to get some play-time (their muscles and engines were siezing up Grin).
I enjoyed the game a lot, no piccys though Sad, as this was just a learning game, and I decided to let Steve win, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it Grin
Mistakes with the rules were made, as is normal in any game I play Grin, and I will be making a 'Moron Sheet' for future games. I doubt that it will stop my screw-ups though Grin. Nik, you have some competition.
Should be finishing the Brits and GSFG soon, then on to the Bundeswehr, followed by the Yankees. Then, possibily, on to the Dutch and Belgians, am I getting like Stefan and Nik QuestionConfusedStunnedApprove
As mentioned elsewhere, when Nik sorts out 'NikFest', my toys will get another airing, as they will at Portbury again Approve.
