I belong to a games club with our own space in Brooklyn. I'd like to get some interested parties to pull some FWC in 3mm or 6mm scale around the club - so far I just get horselaugh out of the existing membership. A few one-offs for starters, with a fuller campaign later if there were interest. If you're interested let me know - the club has a lot of other things going on as well so it's not a one-dimensional place. But if you've seen any of my FWC stuff on the boards and would like to play it out, you'd be welcome!

"horselaugh out of the existing membership"

What a shame, how rude. Is it the scale or genre they object to?

Still, just goes to show that tossers get every where!

Both. Last time I pulled out a scenario it was on an Ice Planet - had several people stand around and make fun of it for a good half hour, then it was off to rehash the battles of World War II for the billionth time, but no takers. It was a real bummer. So I'm actively recruiting more Sci Fi fans for the club. I don't mean I want to play it every day, but once in a while would be nice. Bang on man, tossers are international and trans-cultural.

Funny thing is they'll play 40K til the cows come home, but won't countenance FWC on the basis of "not liking sci fi." Ah, well.

Maybe I can get my boss to send me to the UK office. But he'd have to have a UK office first, I guess.

They like WH40K but not sci-fi? I guess they don't like the "science" part there, then?!
