HI Pete,
juet wondering why no MRLS prior to 1990? From what i can gather the US army took first delivery in 1983 and deployed them in Germany in April 1984.Any chance of the lists being
ammended to reflect this?

Being a holiday in the US and not having much else to do, I'm searching old messages. The MLRS was first fielded in 1981 to the 1st Infantry Division. After watching a battery fire at a company-size target, one officer on the division staff was overheard saying, "Who needs a tactical nuke now!"
