Are they going to block LOS in the game?

Dr Gordon Evil uses them to great effect in our FWC games. I reckon he has sat down and worked out every angle of fire on his field systems

I was interested in the comment below the blog post, are fields in Germany using hedges? A quick google image search suggests not frequently.

No from what I have found a lot of the fields don't seem to have hedge boundaries or if they do they are not complete hedges but there are some. The plan is to have fields around BUA's and then the areas between the towns will be open table except for woods etc.

Yes - although in 44 the British topped that with 16" guns.
