Posted on 04 September 2015 at 13:59:08 GMT Lovely stuff The wooden barrels being cast on a flat sprue is a god-send. I acquired some modern metal fuel barrels with a sprue that had the barrels cast on the edge & they are a nightmare to cut off as you then have to file them flat & to the horizontal. The hay piles are also nice ... ideal for representing a lone Sniper perhaps! |

Posted on 04 September 2015 at 15:50:09 GMT They do look great and he is filling a niche that needs attention, so that is great. I must get an order in soon, but I've currently sworn off buying anything new before I complete various parts of the lead pile ... hah, what kind of wargamer does that make me? Did you say THREE weeks? AAAAAAAArrrrrggghhh ... better wear another paint brush out this weekend then! Cheers, MarkJ, Kommisar |

Posted on 05 September 2015 at 08:41:43 GMT Road side kit is always useful: Metal Skips (good for very modern & sci-fi) Rubbish bins Telephone boxes Milk churns (that will get the railway guys hooked in) Bus shelters Burnt out cars & small trucks/vans Various types of road signs What about trams for the WW1/WW2 guys I'll keep thinking |

Posted on 05 September 2015 at 09:20:03 GMT I'd like some modern buses. That's how the Israeli army was transferred between fronts. Traffic lights. And pylons, but I don't know how! Cheers H |

Posted on 07 September 2015 at 16:38:25 GMT Liking the market idea (medieval and modern) and fork lift truck is a great idea can be used for both military and industrial settings. My telegraph pole order arrived this morning so I hope to get some painted up as soon as possible. Will post a photo when I have done them. Cheers Richard P |
