Posted on 06 February 2011 at 21:10:16 GMT This is my solo solution to hidden minefields:- Physical minefields are not used, they are replaced by a mine blunder. When the attacker makes a command throw of axactly 11, a unit has detonated a mine. The unit that is closest to the defenders base edge (of the units receiving the order) must shake a D6 and take that many attacks...4+ is a hit and NO saves. The unit is auto supressed and so is every unit within 5cm. Static units, e.g. emplaced/unlimbered guns/mortars and dug in troops cannot set off the mine but may be supressed if close enough. The defending side must purchase the mines at 30pts each and once that number of mines has been triggered the mine blunder stops. Any thoughts, positive or negative? |
