I don't have FWC but I play BKC solo all the time so as the basic system of play is the same I can't see any problems.

Would AI cards work with BKC or FWC?

I'm intending to get some FWC solo gaming started soon (still painting up some GW op-forces for my not-Squats)

I'm intending just to start simple, nothing hidden or too random. I'll just rely on the friction of the command rolls to keep it interesting, and see how that plays out.

My next step will probably be to write down some logical objectives for both forces that I will stick to while making their turns.

Should work well for solo play, I'm never too sure what I'm doing at any given moment anyway...Confused

I'd love to do a squat army but considering how much a basic epic ork army will cost me the Squats will most likely be three times that.

I am going to write up a scenario regarding an Imperial force that is trying to suppress a rebellion, from the workers. As each battle unravels a story should/will be told.

Should be fun.

I was lucky in that I bought a box of Squats and some vehicles waaaaaay back in the 'Epic Space Marine' days. Then last year I scavenged a few bargains off eBay while the AUD was going strong.

You don't really need a lot for a few thousand points of FWC forces, and there's not many constraints that make you buy three of everything and so on.

I've picked up some other stuff off eBay, and added that to some bits I already had ... so my poor Squats are going to find themselves a bit set-upon as a neighbouring stronghold falls to a Chaos Cult, and the feral Orks in the badlands suddenly get organised. But Imperial assistance will be on the way! Although that might get messy as well... Gimme

Still a fair bit of painting required before that all comes to fruition. I think the Ork problem may be the first to emerge.

I was going to plug alot of $$ in to some Pax Arcadia but not sure now... I guess I'll go looking on Ebay for some bargins.

Just spent $26NZD on sci-fi card stock buildings far cheaper then buying resin ones.
