In early 1944, a russian full T34/85 platoon contain 3 tank, a german full panzer IV platoon 5 tank.

Russian: 3 platoon per company (9 tank)

German: 4 platoon per company (20 tank)

In game term, what did you think about the number of game unit per platoon/company

Russian T34/85 platoon = 1 T34/85 game unit (AT 4d6, Hit 5) per company : AT 12d6, Hit 15 (9 tank)

German Pz IV platoon = 1 Pz IV game unit (AT 4d6, Hit 4), per company : AT 16d6, Hit 16 (20 tank)

OR

German Pz IV platoon = 2 Pz IV game unit (AT 8d6, Hit 4), per company : AT 32d6, Hit 32 (20 tank)

If you're running BKC at one stand = one company, or one one stand equals one "real world" platoon rather than one model = @5 models and buying X models to make a platoon/company/battalion, then you might want to think about that.

Of course you can always write off the extra and not worry about it, either by one model equals X real world tanks (so a Sov battalion you'd buy six model tanks and one HQ, a German battalion would be twelve stands plus HQ, or possibly three HQs - one for each company and so on), or by increasing/decreasing stats.

I play blitzkieg with 1 stand = 1 platoon

In my opinion, 1 Pz IV platoon (with 5 tank) is more powerfull than 1 T34/85 platoon (with 3 tank), but the stats says otherwise.

A BKC stand = approximatly 5 models (in stats terms) ?

The other option (which I'd recommend if the difference in platoon/company sizes bothers you) is to take a battalion strength and divide it by four or five to get the number of stands. Just ignore the sub-units structure from real-life. After all, BKC doesn't really use them.

And don't forget, that in real life, it was rare to have full strenght units!
