Another one in 1/72 awaiting formalising once I get the rules:


2x Stuarts

Weapons Company
CP
3x 81mm mortars
2x 37mm A/T guns
2x .50 HMGs

Rifle Company (put together from TOEs, I had no idea the Marines fielded this kind of firepower)
CP
HQ Section
4x 60mm mortars
2x Browning M1917 MMGs
2x Bazooka teams
MG Platoon
2x .30 Browning MMGs
3x Rifle Platoons each of:
CP
Flamethrower
3x Fire teams, each with BAR

I don't doubt it's accurate and needed - digging those islands out was hellish. Worse for the Japanese mind, given the eventual casualty rates.
