Footage of BT-5 & BT-7 Russian Fast Tanks (but not the T-35 as in the page title)

Instead of Mickey Mouse, the Germans should have called them Dumbo. You will believe a tank can fly.

These older films do have a tendenacy to speed things up a little bit. But, still those little buggers were quick.Cool

hehehehe

Have a google for:

If War Comes Tomorrow

and

Tankisti

Both are pre-Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact movies where Soviet forces repel a German (or German inspired) invasion at the frontier and then proceed to help the oppressed workers rid themselves of their fascist bourgeois overlords...

Featured in them are:

Night marching T26/28/ BT5/7
T28 & BT river crossings
BTs crossing rivers using the bridge pilings in the absence of a roadway
T26s abseiling down a sheer cliff face (I'm NOT making that up... well maybe the term is rappelling?)
and much much more...
