Yes folks, after a years R&R in 2018 FWC BOOT CAMP returns on the weekend of 23rd / 24th March 2019.

Usual venue - The Tudor Arms @ Slimbridge - which has great beer & food, good rooms, even a camp-site/caravan park for the hardy souls among us and plenty of space to game all weekend.

The format is the now traditional 6mm scale, with a series of multi-player scenario games and 1 on 1 combats.

More details to follow ... but please express your interest here.

Looking forward to seeing you all in March. The more the merrier.

Does anyone need any 6mm Armies? I have two for sale:
(1) 6mm Space Marines
(2) 6mm Imperial Guard
Let me know if interested, if not I'll take the figures off the bases and send them to eBay for 40K Epic gamers to beard over.

So it looks like I'll turn them back into EPIC and echo-bay them ...

Hi Dave - have you given up on FWC? Or found some wonderful new FWC 'killer' army to replace them?

I have both armies so thank you for the offer ... so I'll pass thank you

Another truely OUTSTANDING FWC BootCamp ...

I won the Mad Max - HunterScavenger lucky dip - 4 double 1 command bonus really helps when you are an OrK

I lost to a Post Modern Soviet in Afghanistan - a bad case of my Imperial AT-AT getting attacked up the Khyber Pass (ooo-err missus!)

I lost to another 'human' army in a crowded city-scape terrain - again AT-ATs don't do well in burned out social housing (lesson there for you Mr Vader ... yes, yes, yes I know that "the Force was strong in that one!"Wink

And finally in a game of enthusiastic optimism v cruel, cold blooded ruthlessness - my Orange Ork Clan got torn apart limb from limb by a bunch of pinko-terrapins (blasted Kraytonians) in an uneven match where my only joy was the fact that I got 1 air-strike on and thanks to the dare-Devil pilot rule I actually managed to scratch the paintwork of one nasty grav-tank thingy. Ah well ... it was nice to get the Orks out again.

See you there next year ... hopefully???
