Any thoughts on how to simulate hit and run attacks?

How to play it, and points cost impact?

For behind enemy lines, special forces/commando raids etc.

I'm puzzling over move-shoot-move.

Or shoot first then move.

Well high CV hq's should give you plenty of chances at move-shoot-move etc to simulate the agressiveness and training of elite troops.

I'd adjust the points significantly more than the book points to account for the cv 9 or 10, something thats been discussed a number of times before.

The main thing imo would be to set victory conditions that mean the special forces can not hang around, have enemy reinforcements arrive during the game and so on.

Just realised that you can fire once per (action) in the command phase, rather than once per turn. OOPSBlush

I'm stuck in the past of playing 40K, even though it's set in the future.

Don't forget Stabilised units can move/shoot or shoot/move in the same action too...
