Going pretty good so far.

My Tawe Clan (not-squats) from the land of the ever wet green valleys have so far:
1) 2 successful raids suppressing all production on the Eldritch support planets
2) 1 (oh so close) raid that nearly did same on their homeworld
3) Defended one of my production worlds against a not-Ork variant army. (them 3300 pts vs my 1000pts). Stunned

We've been bad, very bad bad boys. And busy too! Evil

Hi,

I am new to this site - the campaign System sounds interesting! Did the second part take off?
Is it available somewhere?

Thanks!

Sadly the campaign petered out so it was never developed. I hope to go back to it sometime and revise the campaign rules.

The idea was to encourage more games and different armies but alliances developed too quickly and it made it very easy to gang up. Also, when people had too few troops defending the rules were too lenient on home terrain so some games became a tad farcical as whilst pretty some of the terrain became impossible to defend.

I'm all for restarting it again Steve ... it was hugely enjoyable but I agree about the alliance bit (having been on the wrong end of it once) and also the defensive terrain/fortification issues (such as the horrible cyborg dug into an underground bunker that was only 1 horrible cyborg wide ... get the idea!!!).

But that might be avoidable with restrictions on defenses and also some Umpire managed anti-alliance factors.

I'm up for it again anyway Grin

I think that The Original Stroud Alliance or TOSA for short had the campaign sewn up

I was looking forward to fielding my Pax Arcadian Mammoth MK Vs

Mk II Hard & Soft Targets
Mk III AA Capable
Mk IV Teleportation
Mk V Independant

I tried the tactical battlefield nupe option ...

Off-table artillery with 16 attacks + Plasma, with a dedicated FAO + dedicated RecceStunned

But it was outlawed by the UFF (aka the Umpire)Shock

Maybe next time Grin

It's da Plasma suppressions that get em every time Wink

Hmmm ...
Question: so I survived the 16 attack dice (that was nice) but was suppressed by hits (not so good) - then the 3 elements around me - all within 5cm all got hit & suppressed by the plasma ... so how many times do I test for plasma suppressions I ask you?
Answer: "Not enough!" say I

Ah ... that sweet smell of Plasma in the morningBlackeye

KISS - test for Plasma suppression once per initiative per stand.

By per initiative I mean per successful order!
