I finally got around to playing my first game of FWC this week. I really enjoyed the rules and had a good time. My friend Randy (whom was being introduced to these rules for the first time) also enjoyed the game.

Glad it hasn't soured you on the rules, there's some I know would just walk off muttering if half tier force fled

Suppression - most useful! Doesn't happen too much with Marines though - they're 1-2 dice down for virtually everything so usually you just have to kill 'em to stop 'em!

It is frustrating to lose those models on a command roll but the odds aren't all that high of it happening and I wouldn't have lost them if they were farther from the table edge.

No, it's not likely - but some people don't see that and will throw their hands up and claim it's a terrible game due to a one in a hundred chance...
