I got a few eight-sided dice with another game. ("Battles of Westeros"- a command -and-colour clone).
3 times hit green target
2 times hit blue target
1 time hit red target
1 times special hit
1 time flag
I really like them as it is easy to see if you got a hit! Not have to count 4, 5 and six. Just one look- aasy for older fellows like me.
I now had some thoughts if I could use them with BKC II.
Target in open ground would be hit green
Target in soft cover = hit blue
Target in hard cover = hit red
This would slightly reduce the chance to hit ( e.g. open ground 50% to 37,5%).
Save 4 would be green
Save 5 would be blue
Save 6 would be red
I´m suggesting to use the "special hit" for fire from the flank and artillery/ mortars firing at targets in cover (trenchs).
Will test it with my next game.
