For example:

If I buy a 105 mm Artillery piece and a Typhoon ground attack aircraft, do I have them available any turn via the FAO's (subject to successful orders etc.) or do I have to buy assets to use them this way?

Or, are purchased assets only for the pre-planned strikes at the beginning of the game?

(Sorry, don't have the rules in front of me for the exact game rule terms).
