Can indirect fire damage armour (especially indirect fire from mortars)? In BKC I think it could just cause suppression, but that seems to have gone now. Or maybe I missed it in all the new-book reading excitement?

This came up in my first game of BKCII yesterday (where my 1941 British got a nasty surprise from Italian opposition, curse the reduced hits for A13s!!) Grin

I think it's on page 20. If a weapon has an AT Attack value then it can fire at AFV's. If it hasn't then it can't.

Hope that helps

p136 - Summary of Changes & Additions -

"Artillery and mortars using indirect fire now cause hits against fully armoured vehicles."
Confirms that the rules have changed from BKC1.

p20 - Confirms that units with an AT capability can attack fully armoured vehicles.....

so would seem logical that infantry guns can damage armour.

Thanks chaps, especially for the p136 reference. I guess my rubbish tanks will be subjected to all sorts of bombardments now!

The change from BKC1 caught me out here.
