Had an interesting point come up in my game last night.

My Japanese Inf close assaulted US marine shermans. This was result was in my favour, but I would still like clarification?

Two units assault a sherman, the first engages from the front and makes it with 2 wounds and no suppression. My opponent was then told as he was now engaged he could not fire on the side assault. Is this true or could he have equally engaged both?

The second Japanese unit would have to start its assault from a flanking position for this to work.
