Hi All,

What is the sequence for planning assets and placing defences?

I cannot see it anywhere in the rules.

It seems to me that it would make sense for fixed defences to go down before the attacker plans his assets, but for hasty defences to go down afterwards.

How do other people play this?

Depends on how you interpret the scenario rules for deployment on pages 37 to 40. Those scenarios that allow assets for the attacker require that the defender deploys first. Then the attacker deploys. The page 4 rules for purchasing assets that targets are designated before deployment. The wording in both cases probably should have been "asset targets are designated before the attacker deploys"

Dont hae the rules in front of me, but if I remember correctly, defender deploys fixed defences, bunkers, trenches and such, attacker allocates scheduled artillery and air strikes, defender deploys troops and then attacker deploys.
