The whole basis of suppression in the rules is that being suppressed denies the unit the ability to take actions in the turn, which is how your opponent moves his forces to overwhelm you. If you allow suppression removal by a commander within the turn, then one of the main tactical elements of the game disappears. As it is, suppression comes off at the end of the owning players turn, so his troops are active once again. As Ian says, try it and see, what's the worse that could happen? Cheers, Andy |
