What colour to use to paint (earlywar) russian uniforms and personal equipment (20mm).
I used GW "Graveyard" with my 6 mm.

Any khaki brown would do (is it Commando Khaki at GW?). I use Humbrol 26. Of course you can paint them green if you like - lots of variation with Russian uniforms.

I'm pretty sure I do but will check when I get home. I have a khaki brown colour that I use for the summer uniform and a greener one for the Winter. Will post details tonight if I remember!

Also worth checking out the FoW website as they have lots of articles on painting uniforms etc. Ditto Artizan models IIRC.

Russian uniforms vary even more than field grey so pretty much and tan/khaki/drab will probably work!

The Vallejo Colour Set WWII Allied (16 colours)arrived Wensday and I was a little surprised about Vallejo 924 Russian Uniform as it is rather greenish! Stunned
