I've just got 3 of these (all different types) for my Finns.

All the models are very very nice - thank heavans, having used QRF before !

Each comes as: hull, 2 tracks + turret(s). BUT - what's the extra bit? It's about 6mm x 7mm, flat on one face with two raised rounded edges on the other. Pictures in books or on line aren't giving me any clues.

HELP!

At a guess, and based on some QRF models I have, I think it might be a hatch cover- probably for use on top of the turret or maybe on the hull.

I'm pretty sure it's a cover for the grill that sits directly behind the turret on the engine deck.
