So how do PSC size up against skytrex in terms of size for their 15mm Shermans? I'm thinking of the Sherman I and II in particular.

Thanks in advance.

Don't have any Skytrex ones to compare to but the dims on the PSC II & III (they don't do a I) are 54l x 26h x 26w which is slightly under 1/100 as far as I can tell. Couple of comparisons here though

Brilliant, thanks!

The 1st link has comparison photos of the PSC and Old glory (which is a skytrex one anyway!). They look to close enough - especially once stowed.

All I need is 3xSherman II's so it looks like they should mix. I've been given (GIVEN!) 40 Shermans (I, Ic, II, V and Vc), 12 Churchills and 20 Cromwells / Challengers (plus enough infantry and supports for 6 battalions!!!!) - all in 15mm. The V and Vc will be for the Guards, but the I, Ic and II will be the Scots Greys in 4th Armoured Brigade. What I need is a few more II's for command bases.Gimme

I'd pretty much agree that they fit together. the only potential sticking point being the turret which on the CD model looks a tad squashed.

I had noticed the squished turret on CD/OG/Skytrex. Also, you need to make sure that you have the right tracks. On the mark V/Vc the track "unit" that you glue on is about 2-3mm longer that that for their I/II and ARV! Very odd. I'm not aware of a lengthening of the hull/suspension by 1' between types.

Toxic. I have been blessed Grin. I've painted the recce types first. I've got about 20 armoured / scout cars and Honeys. My mate is a meglomaniac.

I've based the command groups/FAO/FAC types as well. It comes in at about 30!

Sherman V engine consisted of several small ones bolted together which meant it needed a longer hull that the other marks. Fortunately with PSC it's not possible to put the wrong tracks on due to the notches and lugs on the various kits. Other items are perfectly compatible though so mix and matching for some nice variety is perfectly possible.

Hey Dr Dave, I'd forgotten that - no offence taken. Fame at last! Sediment refers to what I do for a living, I'm a geologist specialising in the study of modern and ancient sediments. Getting a bit off topic now though!
