Morris? CMP? CS...???? Confused

Too confusing for me. Does anyone have any definitive into on which trucks / lorries moved a normal infantry bttn AND a motor bttn in May '42? Would they use different transport, one being part of the bttn the other not???

Thanks in advance.

Oo, no idea - I'd probably just grab what ever is definitely in service then and not worry overly much if I didn't find any specific references...

Google image search for ideas?

Thanks both. I think I'll get more Pithead 15 cwt trucks. Bedfords and CMPs look cool! The Chevrolets look too much like cars to me!

I've even managed to find a few pictures of them with the white cross air recognition sign used before the roundel came in post Gazala.

Pleasure! I quite like the idea of Valentines masquerading as trucks like the first piccy Wink

And remember that both sides also used captured trucks so you'd find German and Italian trucks in British units and British trucks in German and Italian units. Nothing ever went to waste in the desert. Smile
